National Camp 2014

Hello guys!! Back with an update about National Camp which i attended on 15th to 18th August. Along with Mavis, Rachel, Jia Jun, Jordan, Wee Kiat, Billbur, we represented North Vista Sec & are one of the lucky few who are able to attend this camp that are held every 2 years.

I was quite upset that i wasn't in the same group as Rachel and Mavis, & that i know no one in my group. I was like close to tears.

However, within 30minutes, my group starts talking & we gets more bonded to one another. At HTA, we all were in the same bunk, along with 3 girl brigages & 2 red cross. We started talking, interact with those girl brigages & we slowly became friends. It's amazing how the 8 of us, came from 8 different schools, can be friends in such a short time.

Through this camp, im able to experience activities that I never encounter before. We did real shooting with the 0.22 gun, archery, tub rafting, NCC experiences & others. These different activities are organised by different cca groups & we are able to experience how different different cca works.

Im really glad that i knew such awesome friends through this camp like Genn, Jinming, Jingchen, Yongsen, Rosanne, Cheryl, Melissa, Crystal, Angela, Adalia, & Jeroline. Thanks for making my 4D3N at this camp such a memorable time, i will not forget these memories & the bonding of us. See you all soon.

NOM No Other Meaning Cafe

I went to NOM, No Other Meaning Cafe with my mum earlier today for brunch. it'sour first time there thanks to the recommendation of my mum's friend.

NOM is located inside Macpherson Community Club, which i find it kind of weird yet curious the moment my mum told me.

However, being located at the community club may allow some people to have a neutral impression about it, their prices are reasonable because of it :)

We ordered their oreo rainbow cake to try as that's the food most people order at NOM. The rainbow cake comes with a outer layer of either oreo, caramel or chocolate. It's not so sweet, which is suitable for those who prefer cakes that are not that sweet.

These are what we ordered for our brunch, & it's worth the price. It's yummy and of reasonable price, it's a cafe you cannot miss :)
